Oh my. Graduation is nearly upon us and as can be expected I am both happy and sad. I will certainly miss aspects of this school, like certain classes and a lot of my teachers, and the band! You guys are like family and it's going to be hard not seeing you everyday but I know that I'll make it through.
On the upside, I've found a lot of new music, to me, that I really enjoy. "What Sarah Said" by Death Cab for Cutie is possibly the saddest song I've ever heard but I love it. I've also started listening to Adele and Norah Jones. They have the coolest voices.

When you need a way to relax, play some Coldplay.

Yay new music!

Hi! I have been so excited recently because for one, I just bought an ITunes card, and two, I've found a new artist that I absolutely adore. Her name is Imogen Heap like Imogene but without the e on the end. She's British, like many great musicians are any more, and she has some really cool stuff. She mixes her songs really uniquely, and they're kind of creepy, but it's a good creepy. I strongly suggest that you give her a listen. See you again soon!

Fiddler!

Hello! I'm very excited because all this week I'm rehearsing for our spring musical, Fiddler on the Roof! The music is a little bit scary, with super fast tempos and menacing key signatures, but I really like it. The cast has been doing really well, and Fruma Sarah is awesome!
Recently, I've been downloading the Twilight soundtrack. Robert can sing! I also adore Flightless Bird by Iron and Wine. I think it was their prom song.

Emo Video

At last a moment to breathe!

Hello. I've just barely mustered up the energy to post today. I had such a busy weekend it was crazy! I got up at 4:30 on Saturday and was in Terre Haute by 8:00 for an interview. I'll find out how that went by the 23rd of this month.
I also got to go to Solo and Ensemble right afterwards, and got a silver. I was pretty bummed, especially since I missed getting a gold by .5 of a point, but it's ok. I was just psyched that I got to play.
Talk to you later :)

To Kill A Mockingbird

I loved the play yesterday! All of the adult actors were phenomenal, especially the men who played Atticus, Tom, and Bob Eule. The little boy that played Dill was also very good, on stage and off. The audience was really disrespectful though, and that made me mad. There's no sense in tearing apart a perfectly good play.

Hey everyone! I've got some really good news and some bad news. My good news is, drum roll please, I've been accepted into the music department at ISU! There was lots of screaming going on that day. My bad news is that I have an interview for a massive scholarship tomorrow, and I might have to miss Solo and Ensemble :( Keep your fingers crossed for me!
Anyway, not much new with me. I've been listening to a lot of Secondhand Serenade. That man is amazing.

My opinion

This money sure seemed like such a blessing when we first found out about it. Now it just seems like somethin' evil that's putting ideas into our heads. It's momma's money, but everyone except momma is concerned about it. I sure hope that Walter doesn't get an ounce of this money.
I really hope that momma takes this money and does what she wants to do with it. I would be so happy if she pays for some more of my college with it, but the decision's up to her. Maybe she could buy a nice little house somewhere, so that Travis would have more room to play and be away from his daddy. Walter puts too many bad ideas in that boy's head.

Hullo lovelies. Hope you're doing fine. My solo, I'm happy to say, is coming along quite nicely, especially now that I've dropped the other one.
I got the new Coldplay EP! It's pretty amazing. I love Postcards from Far Far Away, it's gorgeous. I've also found out that if I somehow recieve a gold on my solo, I can go to state because it's on the 21st instead of the 14th.
Anyway, hope you've been able to check out some cool music, and thanks for listening to my rants. I'm off to listen to some Coldplay.

OMG!

Hello Everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, because I know that I did. Now I'm on the countdown to my brain exploding, or imploding, I don't really think that it matters. In this wonderful month of January I have to finish my application to ISU's music department, audition on the 26th, have Solo and Ensemble on the 31(which I have two solos for), and fill out the application for the Lilly Scholarship! I'll be lucky if I survive. Anyway, currently I'm still listening to Once, because I got the full soundtrack. I'm also checking out some of John Mayer's early stuff. Talk to you soon!
